SHAPESHIFTER Spectrum 48K release

BOTTOM FISH BANANA. Now I've got your attention, I'd like very much to let you know about our latest
Spectrum 48K cassette release, SHAPESHIFTER. Coded by IAN MUNRO, of Iron Sphere fame, it's a
brand new puzzler based on a simple idea, but will keep you coming back for more until you've pulled all your
hair out and look like me.

Other news.... I've been working on getting a few old long
lost games redone. I thought it was about time the PGD was re-issued. Also, as I've just got myself a BBC Micro again and a nice new cassette cable from the RETRO COMPUTER SHACK so I've been messing around with the Lemmings inspired WEENIES game, by Chris Dewhurst. I'm also planning to release the BBC / ELECTRON version of EGGHEAD IN SPACE (finally, after how many years?) once I can get a CD master copy working.

Lots of exciting news happening at the Cronosoft shedPlenty of games, new and old, are coming very soon.We have CAPTAIN DREXX, for the SPECTRUM 128K only - the first game of this classic genre to hit the Speccy. It's available to pre-order now, with the first shipments going out later this week.There's also going to be an EXTREMELY LIMITED large box set of Bob Smith's classic ZX81 game VIRUS, with cassette, badge and emulator files on a mini-CD. There are only SIX copies made (and I've got one of 'em!)... They'll be announced on the Cronosoft Facebook page - first come first served - keep your eyes peeled.Ian Munro (of Iron Sphere) fame is also working on a great new Speccy puzzler too. More info and a possible playable demo will be annouced as soon as possible. The venerable gentleman Jonathan Cauldwell will make his return to with a sequel to a previous classic. Also, we're bringing back a few of the old games too in limited numbers, for those that missed them the first time.As always - if you've written a game that you want us to publish - send it in. We might not sell many, but at least it will be immortalised for all time! Also - anyone who's written any classic previously published titles that would like a re-issue, we'll happily oblige.

CRONOSOFT are pleased to announce that the dispute over unpaid royalties from ELITE SYSTEM'S use of Cronosoft titles on iOS and Android has now been settled after a long time. The games are now withdrawn from Elite, and Cronosoft recommend that anyone wanting to play the excellent Jonathan Cauldwell and Bob Smith titles should check out Jonathan Needle's superb Spectaculator iOS app. The link to it is here.
