09.11.09 Had a bit of an update of the site today, hope there ain't any bugs. There are some more games added, a few for the Spectrum, and some for the Amstrad CPC. Thanks to everyone who has ordered games so far - At the time of writing, I'm about up to date! Thanks as always to Graz for the super new look inlays. 10.09.09 We're slowly but surely getting there! A few more games now added to the range.... Rob Pearmain's "Bipboi", coupled with Triumph Game Lab's "Nipik 2", and also Jonathan Cauldwell's latest epic "Slubberdegullion". If you're putting in an order, please allow quite a bit of time - especially if you're ordering several games at once. I have 1 fiull time and 2 part time jobs at the moment, so I don't get a chance to do as much tape duplication and printing as I'd like! Rest assured however, that I haven't forgotten about it... it'll just take a while. Some of you international buyers may wonder why the tapes cost 50p more to go to Europe and £1.00 more to go outside of Europe - well.. to keep it simple, the Paypal checkout calculates the postage for UK sales only, and the extra fee pays for the increased shipping costs for overseas transactions. 01.09.09 Welcome to the relauch of CRONOSOFT - the UK's premier independent software house for classic systems. For those of you that haven't heard of us, we are a non-profit software house releasing brand new games for classic systems such as the Sinclair ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64 and Amstrad CPC. The latest news, is that we're welcoming on board our new partner Graham Richards, who you'll remember for designing the superb artwork for many of our games, including amongst others, Gamex, Izzy Wizzy, Blitz 2000, Stranded etc.
It'll take a while to get the range adapted, so please bear with us. There are also new releases to look forward to, including the long awaited Dragon 32 and Tandy Color game "GLOVE". Also, the new cleaner look website should make ordering a bit less confusing! With the changes, the original issues of the older back catalog games are no longer available on individual cassette, though they will be available for individual download with artwork from the PRESERVATION TEAM SHOP in the near future, for use with emulators, or to "copy and print yourself". The website is still under construction, but I'm aiming to get a bit done every week till we're back at full strength. Thanks as always go to the authors of the games, our helpers and supporters, and of course you, our customers for helping to keep the 8-bit's alive. |
