CRONOSOFT was established in 2002/2003 as a software house for publishing new and unreleased games for retro computers and consoles. Anyone who has written a new game, and would like to see it published, is invited to send it to us, and if we like it, we may market it for you.
CRONOSOFT is a non-profit making organization, though we DO pay royalties to the authors of games (if they want them) for each copy sold (usually 1.00 GBP per unit). You can of course waive your royalty if you prefer, or even donate it to charity, or even us if you like! Any money that we make from sales is re-invested into the software house.No-one takes a 'wage' or anything like that.
We have had lots of publicity in the past, and have featured regularly in mainstream printed computer and gaming magazines such as RETRO GAMER , GamesTM , Micro Mart gaining very respectable reviews for all of our releases.
Currently we support the Sinclair ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Commodore 16/+4, Amstrad CPC, Dragon 32 and Vic 20 machines.
We are eager to provide new software for the ZX81, Dragon 32, Tandy Color, Texas TI99, Sord M5, Oric-1/Atmos, Mattel Aquarius, Atari 8-bit, Commodore 16/Plus 4, Amiga, Atari ST, as well as consoles such as the Atari 2600, Original and Color Gameboy, and others.
Don’t be too put off by the fact that we're doing the duplication and production in a D.I.Y. Way - I think you’ll be surprised at how good the final product looks.
If you’ve written a game, or perhaps you’re thinking of writing one, then maybe we can help you out. After all - you’ve got nothing to lose.
